How to Use AutoComplete to Quickly Fill Out Forms in Internet Explorer 6

  1. Go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
  2. Select the Content tab.
  3. Look for Personal Information and click the AutoComplete option.
  4. Check the Web addresses box to make the browser suggest previous entries made as you type in the address bar.
  5. Check the Forms box to make the browser suggest previous entries made as you type in form fields.
  6. Check the User names and passwords on the forms box to make the browser save entries in password fields. The browser will automatically fill in the password fields when you return next time. Note: Checking the Prompt me to save passwords box will prompt users if the browser should save the password or not when they are typing in their passwords online.
  7. Click the OK button.
