How to Find and Replace Text in MS Word XP

  1. From the Edit menu, click Replace.
  2. In the Find What field, type the text to be searched.
  3. In the Replace With field, type the replacement text.
  4. To replace all instances of the text searched for with the replacement text, click Replace All.
  5. To make a single replacement, click Replace.
  6. To skip a replacement, click Find Next.
  7. Click Close.
