Restart Windows Explorer
Windows XP problems can have many causes, and the solution is not always that easy to find. If your system seems to hang or becomes dreadfully slow, the general solution is to reboot the PC. But in quite a few cases Windows problems can be caused by the Windows Explorer. Restarting the Windows Explorer takes far less time than restarting your computer.
