If you reply to e-mails you sometimes want to add comments to the original e-mail. Especially if the original e-mail is long, you do not want to retype parts of that e-mail. But for easy of reading, the recipient should be able to see what you commented. When using MS Word as your e-mail editor, you can configure Word to mark your comments with your name or some other markup.
Have you tried Internet Explorer 8 already? It’s in beta 2, but it can be installed and used already. If you did and did not like it, you probably uninstalled IE8 and reverted back to IE7. If that is the case, you might want to block IE8 from being installed by Windows update when the final version is released!

Maybe you have tried one of the Internet Explorer beta releases already, but quickly uninstalled it when realizing that many websites do not show properly. Of course Microsoft is trying to address this issue to get more people to use IE8. But is it good enough?
If you install a new application, it often shows something special the first time you start it. This is handy for users to see special features, or trigger the user to do some setup or configuration. Microsoft does the same with Internet Explorer 7. The first time it is executed, it redirects to a “runonce.msn….” web page, which shows you information on Internet Explorer 7. It should only show once, but sometimes things go wrong.
