In Vista (and Windows 7) you do not need to use an external application to check the computer memory (RAM). The Memory Diagnostics Tool can be used to scan and test your RAM on Windows startup.
Checking your memory in Vista can help determine the cause for blue screen errors.
Inbox repair tool errors can occur when you run the Microsoft scanpst.exe program, which is part of the Microsoft Office installation and can be used to fix .pst file errors.
