- Go to the Tools menu and then select Internet Options.
- Choose the Programs tab.
- Check the option, Internet Explorer should check to see whether it is the default browser box. Note: If Internet Explorer is not the default browser, a message box will appear the next time you open the program and ask if you want Internet Explorer to be the default browser.
- Click the OK button.
