To Use Labels as References in MS Excel 2003:
Note: This option must be set first, otherwise formulas that use labels need to be re-entered.
- From the Tools menu, click Options.
- Select the Calculation tab.
- Under Workbook options, click Accept labels in formulas.
- To re-enter a formula that used a label before this option was set, select the cell containing the formula, press F2, and then press ENTER on the keyboard.
