MS PowerPoint inserts text based on heading styles applied on the original text to be imported. If a body of text in MS Word has not been applied a heading style (i.e., normal text), it will not be inserted in the PowerPoint presentation.
Close the presentation.
Open the Word document whose contents will be imported.
Apply heading styles to all parts of the document. Note: MS PowerPoint handles up to five levels of heading styles.
Save and close the Word document.
Open the PowerPoint presentation and then import the text again.
