Unable To Open The Equation Editor When Using MS PowerPoint XP

To open the Equation Editor in MS PowerPoint XP:

1. Thus, Microsoft Equation Editor 3.0 is not installed.
2. To install the equation editor.
   1. Got to the View menu, select the Toolbars option and then click the Customize option.
   
   2. Choose the Commands tab.
   3. In the Categories field, click the Insert option.
   4. In the Commands field, click the Equation Editor option
   
   5. Select and drag the Equation Editor icon from the Commands box to any toolbar.
   6. Click the Close button.
   7. Select the new Equation Editor button to install the editor.
