If Adobe Photoshop CS2 Keeps Freezing When Started

Delete the New Doc Sizes.psp file and then re-open Photoshop.
Make sure Windows Explorer displays all extensions and file types.
1. Right-click the Windows Start menu to show list and then click Explore option.
2. Go to the Tools menu and then click Folder Options.
3. Click the View tab.
4. Select the Advanced Settings button and then choose Show Hidden Files and Folders option.
5. Uncheck the option Hide Extensions For Known File Types.
6. Then, click the OK button.
Go to Documents and Settings/ [user name] /Application Data/Adobe/Photoshop/9.0/Adobe Photoshop CS2 Settings.
Select New Doc Sizes.psp and then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
