If Adobe Photoshop CS2 Keeps Freezing When Started

- Delete the New Doc Sizes.psp file and then re-open Photoshop.
- Make sure Windows Explorer displays all extensions and file types.
- Right-click the Windows Start menu to show list and then click Explore option.
- Go to the Tools menu and then click Folder Options.
- Click the View tab.
- Select the Advanced Settings button and then choose Show Hidden Files and Folders option.
- Uncheck the option Hide Extensions For Known File Types.
- Then, click the OK button.
- Go to Documents and Settings/ [user name] /Application Data/Adobe/Photoshop/9.0/Adobe Photoshop CS2 Settings.
- Select New Doc Sizes.psp and then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
- Re-start Adobe Photoshop CS2.
