Go to a search site by typing its URL in the Address bar. Popular sites include Google, Yahoo, AltaVista, AOL and MSN.
Type the items you are looking for in the search box provided by the website. Try to be exact. Use keywords and phrases, not whole sentences. Most search engines have an advanced search link; you may use it to refine your search.
Then, select the Search button or its equivalent. This takes you to a new page where the links found by the search engine are listed.
If the results are numerous, the links are displayed one page at a time. Click the Next button or its equivalent to see additional links. To go back to the previous list click the Previous button or its equivalent.
