How to Find and Replace Text with Specific Formatting In MS Word XP

- From the Edit menu, click Replace.
- In the Find What field, type the text to be searched.
- Click Format and then select the formatting to search for. If the Format button is not visible, click More.
- In the Replace With field, type the replacement text.
- Click Format and then select a formatting option for the replacement text if desired.
- To replace all instances of the text searched for with the replacement text, click Replace All.
- To make a single replacement, click Replace.
- To skip a replacement, click Find Next.
- Click Close.
