How to Insert a Fill-In Field in a Form in MS Word XP

- From the View menu, select Toolbars, and then click Forms.
- Place the cursor where the fill-in control should appear.
- Click the Text Form Field button in the Forms toolbar.
- To set the properties of the control, right-click the control, and then choose Properties in the shortcut menu.
- Set the text type, default text, maximum length, and text format properties of the control, and then click OK.
