From the View menu, select Toolbars and then click Forms.
In the Forms toolbar, click the Protect Form button.
In previous versions of Microsoft Word, protecting a form after making changes to it automatically resets the form fields to their original state. This does not occur in MS Word XP. To reset form fields manually, click the Reset Form Fields button on the Forms toolbar.
