Check the connection between the computer and the scanner or camera.
If the computer’s operating system has a test hardware function, make sure to run the test.
Ensure the scanner or camera software is installed properly. Go to the Control Panel and click the Add/Remove Programs icon, uninstall the scanner software and reinstall it completely, following the manufacturer’s guide.
