Acer Comes Out With 10″ Netbook
According to DigiTimes, Acer will be coming out with a ten inch netbook as early as February. The Acer Aspire One, will launch it’s ten inch netbook in Taiwain and hopefully the netbook will be released in the US soon after.
CrunchGear states “[that there is] no pricing or information yet, except that ‘prices are expected to continue to drop’ for notebooks in Taiwan, which seem to generally be priced about 20% higher than here.” Currently, Acer sells an 8.9″ netbook that analysts say is in huge demand (according to DigiTimes, “Acer currently sells 10,000-20,000 Aspire Ones and 7,000-8,000 consumer notebooks monthly in Taiwan.”)
Acer will also sell a 13.3 inch notebookand all-in-one PCs based on its sub-brand Gateway which will fill up the company’s product range.
