Microsoft Announces Fix It
Have you ever received a “this problem is caused by Windows, please contact Microsoft to see if there is a solution”? Well, instead of getting frustrated by Windows’ unhelpful errors which take you to nowhere, Microsoft has finally announced a very effective solution: a fix it button.
According to Microsoft, “Microsoft’s ‘Fix it’ automated solutions help you solve problems with Windows and other Microsoft products at the point of need. The Fix it process is an easy, intuitive method that automates manual steps commonly found in online support content such as Knowledge Base (KB) articles.”
The Fix It button will appear on Microsoft’s website as well as show up in Windows Error Reporting solution pop-ups. If you encounter a problem and there’s no “fix it” for it, you can even suggest problems that you’d like to see fix it solutions for.
