Nokia 5710 XpressAudio – A new phone from the past
In today’s mobile phone market, Nokia is not the biggest player by far. That does not mean they don’t develop interesting mobile phones anymore. Their latest release is the Nokia 5710 XpressAudio.
As the name implies, the focus is on audio with this phone. The Nokia 5710 includes a pair of wireless earbuds that are housed beneath a sleek and robust slider. The phone functions as a charging device for the earbuds when they are inserted into the case. The earbuds use Bluetooth 5.0 and can also be used with other devices.
Apart from the earbuds, the 5710 not only acts as an MP3 player but also includes an FM radio. Convenient if you don’t have an Internet connection available in your location to stream radio channels.
With a battery capacity of 1,450mAh, Nokia claims a long standby time for the phone. This is partly achieved by having only a limited 2.4inch QVGA display. Talk time and standby time will vary depending on the use of the earbud charging, but indicated standby time from 20 to 30 days, and talk time around 7 hours are impressive.
Other nice features of the phone are the ability to insert a microSD card (up to 32 GB) to extend the already decent amount of phone storage (RAM 46 MB, internal storage 128 MB). A microSD card is actually required for the MP3 player function.
As a phone, there are 4G and LTE support (including support for Voice over LTS, or voLTE), and the phone supports dual SIM.
With a weight of only 130grams and a price below a hundred dollars, this phone might end up being a popular choice for music lovers.
Nokia 5710 Drawbacks?
If you like your colors, the choices are limited. Black or white with a red slider in both cases.
The Nokia 5710 also uses a micro USB (USB 2.0) port rather than a USB-C port. So Nokia has not adopted the new EU standard for common charging yet.
Lastly, they phone cannot really be compared with a modern smart phone. The screen size and choice of operating system limit the features of this phone.
Thank you. It works.

Although the answer to this question is correct, it is really a cop-out answer. It's easy enough to find answers…
