Samsung Takes on the MacBook Air
MacBook Air is the iPhone 3G of laptops!. However, not everyone is fond of Mac. Perhaps with that in mind, Samsung came up with a solution. The new Samsung X360 is clearly a MacBook Air… er, only it’s for Windows.
Samsung X360 sports a .66-inch thickness. It weights around 2.8 pounds and it sports a 13.3-inch LCD. Compared to MacBook Air, the Samsung X360 solves what many users find to be lacking in the Air laptop – PORTS.
The Samsung X360 sports three USB ports, 7-in-1 card reader, HDMI and Ethernet ports, VGA input, WiFi and a 1.3-megapixel built-in camera.
The X360 is powered by an Intel Centrino 2 ULV Processor Technology. It has 1GB memory that is upgradable to 4GB. It has a 120 GB S-ATA hard drive and an external DVD Super Multi Dual Layer Writer. The laptop’s graphic engine is powered by Intel’s Graphics Media Accelerator X4500. It has a battery that can last up to 10 hours.
If this sounds a fair deal to you, you will have to wait as Samsung is yet to announce the price of this gorgeous laptop.
