Windows 11 Update 22H2
Windows updates are nothing new, but the way in which they are installed has undergone changes since Windows 10 (auto-updates). And Windows 11 release 22H2 will now be installed automatically on Windows 11 systems that run Windows 11 release 21H2. The update will be automatically pushed to existing Windows 11 installations. As always, Microsoft is doing this in a gradual manner, systems running the Windows 11 21H2 release the longest will receive the new update first.
This auto-update applies to consumer and non-business-managed systems only. Within business deployments of Windows 11 systems, there is still control possible on the roll-out of updates.
A list of details and known issues is available on the Microsoft website.
The new update is addressing known issues as well as implementing improvements in Windows 11 to help with security, productivity, and user-friendliness. But things like the Xbox gaming and Android support (Amazon Appstore preview) are updated. A more detailed review is available on the MS blog.
