How to Delete Files from the CD Recorder Temporary Storage Area in MS Windows XP Professional.
Whenever you burn a CD in Windows XP, a temporary folder is used to store the files that you want to write to CD-ROM. This CD buffer ensures that the files are available (not in use) during the burning process. Of course this takes up some disk space, so if you want to free up this disk space as part of you system maintenance, you can delete them.
