The nice thing about a local e-mail client is that it is so easy to work with multiple e-mail accounts. No need to log in the webmail acces for each account anymore. But if you have quite a few e-mail accounts, all mail is delivered in your inbox by default. In Outlook XP we can easily change the delivery location for new e-mails for each account.
When using HTML for Outlook messages, you can embed all kind of objects in the email message. But sometimes you might want to send a larger object, like a big document, or something that contains sensitive information. In that case it is better to send the object as an attachment instead of embedded in the message.
If you deal with a lot of e-mails, you can use all the help possible to deal with these e-mails. For some e-mails you might have predefined actions, others might need to be dealt with on priority. In Outlook XP, you can use automatic message flags to call attention to incoming messages. Just configure a message rule for the automatic flags.
