Removing programs from Windows XP can be quite a problem. If the uninstall does not work you need to manually remove the program and application files. But even if the uninstaller works, things can be left behind. A typical uninstall problem is that the program is removed, but the program entry is still present in the Add/Remove Programs section of the control panel.
