To use the Backup or Restore Wizard in Windows XP Professional:
- Go to the Windows Start menu, then choose the Accessories option, followed by the System Tools option, the Back-up option, and finally click Next.
- Now click Back up files and settings and then click Next.
- Select the item to be backed up and then click Next.
- Specify the location where the back up should be stored.
(Best to use a separate device, like a USB flash drive, and external hard disk, or a network location.) - Enter a name for the back up and then click the Next button.
- Click the Finish button.
