How to Turn Off Display of Graphics in Internet Explorer 6
To turn off display of graphics in Internet Explorer 6:
- Go to the Tools menu and click the Internet Options.
- Select the Advanced tab.
- Look for the Multimedia section and clear the Show pictures check box.
- Click the OK button.


From now on the images will no longer be displayed in Internet Explorer. Instead alternate text will be shown.
